UCF and Memphis both advanced to Sunday's C-USA Championship match with 1-0 wins in the semifinals. The title match will be played Sunday at 1 p.m. Central at SMU's Westcott Field and will be televised live by CBS College Sports.UCF junior Lauren Halbert made her first goal of the season really count as she nailed the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over UAB in the semifinals of the C-USA Women's Soccer Championship. With the win, the top-seeded Knights extended their win streak to 10 matches.
Memphis sophomore midfielder Lizzy Hildebrandt netted the game-winner in the 15th minute and the UofM defense held on for its school-record 11th shutout of the season in a 1-0 victory against Colorado College. Memphis advances to the C-USA title game for the third year in a row to defend its 2007 and 2008 titles.
